Ajax DomeCam HLVF

DomeCam HLVF is a motorised varifocal dome camera designed for commercial environments where you want wide coverage, sharp detail, and colour performance at night. It is available in 5 megapixel and 8 megapixel versions and uses a 2.8 to 12 millimetre varifocal lens with autofocus. The lens lets you switch between wide scene coverage and zoomed in identification without touching the device, keeping installs simple and flexible.

The camera uses hybrid illumination to give you colour recording at night. Infrared reaches up to 40 metres and white light reaches up to 25 metres, giving you visibility and a deterrent effect when the system detects movement. True WDR balances bright and dark areas, helping you handle difficult lighting conditions.

AI recognition is built in, allowing the camera to identify people, vehicles, and pets with accuracy. You can feed detections into Ajax scenarios or pair them with sirens and automation devices. A built in microphone with noise suppression supports audio capture when needed.

JetSparrow, Ajax’s streaming protocol, keeps video smooth and responsive. You get quick access to live view, dual stream support for bandwidth control, and easy export of recorded clips for incidents. Recordings can be managed locally on an NVR or tied into third party VMS and NVRs over ONVIF or RTSP.

Security is covered with TLS encrypted streams, passwordless mutual TLS authentication, digital signature verification for exported clips, and multi layer account protections. The hardware is NDAA compliant.

The camera installs easily. You can add it to an Ajax system with a QR code, or use ONVIF or RTSP for third party setups. Alarm and audio inputs and outputs are built in. Configuration, motion zones, and health monitoring all run through the Ajax apps.
