Purchasing Manager

Lead Satsecure's procurement function, driving value through strategic sourcing, supplier management and continuous improvement of purchasing processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely supply of goods and services in line with business requirements.
  • Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms, quality and service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues.
  • Work closely with the operational team to forecast demand and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while ensuring value for money and continuity of supply.
  • Develop and improve procurement policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor purchasing performance, analyse procurement data and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead, support and develop purchasing team members where applicable.

What we're looking for

  • Strong negotiation, communication and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Highly developed analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities, with strong financial acumen.
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation within procurement and supply chain environments.
  • Commercially astute with a strong focus on cost control and value optimisation.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of supplier management, inventory control and procurement processes.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
WAREHOUSE WH-MGR-01

Warehouse Manager

Lead Satsecure's warehouse operations, maintaining efficient goods flow, inventory accuracy, team performance and a safe, well-run working environment.

Leicester Full Time / Permanent VIEW ROLE

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfilment and dispatch.
  • Lead, motivate, train and manage warehouse staff to maintain high levels of productivity, engagement and safety.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage inventory accuracy, conduct regular audits and investigate discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement warehouse procedures and best practices to improve operational efficiency and service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment and ensure the facility remains clean, organised and operational.
  • Set, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), manage operational budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, shipping errors and inventory-related concerns.
  • Prepare regular operational and performance reports for management.

What we're looking for

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, data entry and other software applications.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organised work area, manage inventory and prioritise tasks.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in operating equipment such as forklifts, pump trucks and barcode scanners.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Understanding of logistics, shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Strong IT experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
