Superior MotionProtect G3 is a Grade 3 PIR detector with a full anti masking system, designed for higher risk indoor sites where tampering and bypass attempts are a concern. It uses a proprietary optical system with a PIR sensor and a multifaceted mirror to deliver reliable motion detection up to 15 metres, with a 90 degree horizontal field and a 71 degree vertical field. The blind zone is reduced to 30 centimetres, which helps when you need tight coverage in corridors or open commercial areas.

The detector picks up fast and slow movement, including crawling. Pet immunity is not supported, so it is aimed at environments where you need strict detection without compromise. Sensitivity for both motion and masking is adjustable in three steps in the app, which gives you enough control to balance detection and false alarm resistance.

SmartDetect filters out headlights, heating equipment, and sudden airflow changes. Combined with the anti masking sensors, it handles attempts to block the lens, tape it, spray it, or cover it. System supervision checks the PIR, anti masking sensors, and communication state, and sends early low battery and malfunction notifications.

Communication runs on Superior Jeweller and Wings, with a range up to 3,000 metres in open space. The detector uses enhanced encryption, polling, and authentication to prevent spoofing and signal interference. Over the air updates are supported.

Sabotage protection includes three tamper buttons and a locking screw that secures the device to the SmartBracket. Communication loss is detected within 36 seconds, with frequency hopping used to resist jamming.

The detector installs in minutes by scanning a QR code. You can replace batteries without opening the enclosure fully, and side mounting is supported. It uses four CR123A batteries, giving up to seven years of life depending on settings.
