NIGHT SABRE • ACTIVE SECURITY LIGHTING

Make it obvious
they've been spotted.

A normal security light illuminates somebody. Night Sabre gives you somewhere to go next.

Motion brings on powerful white illumination. Connect the alarm input to your security system and an alarm event can escalate that response with highly visible red and blue strobes.

Detect them. Illuminate them. Give them a reason to leave.

SECURITY LIGHTING WITH SOMEWHERE TO GO

A floodlight tells you somebody moved. Night Sabre tells them you know.

STANDARD SECURITY LIGHT

Movement. Light comes on.

Useful illumination, but the response stops there. The person underneath it decides what happens next.

NIGHT SABRE

Movement. Light. Then escalation.

An alarm trigger can switch the response to red and blue strobes, drawing attention to the area and making it clear that the security system has reacted.

THREE SIMPLE PRINCIPLES

Detect. Illuminate. Deter.

The point is not to create a light show. It is to build a visible response around somebody entering an area they should not be in.

01

Detect

The built in digital PIR detects movement up to 9 metres away and brings the white security illumination into play.

02

Illuminate

1400 lumens of white light makes the area clearly visible and removes the cover that darkness was giving them.

03

Deter

Trigger the alarm input and the red and blue warning sequence makes the escalation unmistakable.

PUT IT WHERE SOMEBODY SHOULD NOT BE

The best jobs have an obvious area to protect.

01

Garages and outbuildings

Bikes, tools, machinery and equipment often sit away from the main property and become more exposed after dark.

02

Gates and driveways

Put the warning earlier in the journey, before somebody reaches the house, garage or valuable assets.

03

Shops and shutters

Add visible escalation around entrances, glazing and shutters where unwanted attention after hours matters.

04

Yards and perimeter points

Useful around plant, stock and external areas where you want detection to create a visible response straight away.

ALREADY FITTING AJAX?

Give the alarm somewhere visible to go.

Night Sabre can be connected to an Ajax system using Ajax Relay. When your Ajax detection identifies an alarm event, the relay can trigger Night Sabre's alarm input.

That means the alarm is not limited to an app notification or siren. You can add a highly visible response at the point where the event is actually happening.

AN EASY UPGRADE TO SHOW

You don't need a spec sheet to demonstrate this one.

STANDARD LIGHTING

"The light comes on when somebody walks past."

NIGHT SABRE

"If the alarm goes, this whole area visibly reacts."

That is a very easy upgrade for a customer to understand when you are already discussing external detection, garages, gates or perimeter protection.

SMALL PROFILE. SERIOUS OUTPUT.

It doesn't look like a traditional floodlight.

A few useful things to know.

Does Night Sabre work as a normal security light?

Yes. Its digital PIR can activate the white illumination when movement is detected after dark. The alarm input gives you the additional red and blue warning response when connected to a compatible security system or relay.

How does it connect to Ajax?

Ajax Relay can be used to provide the state change required by Night Sabre's external alarm input. You can then use an Ajax scenario to trigger the relay following the relevant alarm event.

Does it need a separate power supply?

Night Sabre is powered using 802.3af or 802.3at PoE, so power can be delivered over the network cable from a compatible PoE switch or injector.

Can I adjust how long the white light stays on?

Yes. The dwell time can be adjusted from 10 to 400 seconds.

Where would you try Night Sabre first?

Garages, gates, outbuildings, driveways, shutters and other perimeter points are straightforward places to demonstrate it, particularly where you are already fitting external detection.

SHOW THEM WHAT ACTIVE DETERRENCE LOOKS LIKE

Put one on the next garage, gate or outbuilding.

Trigger it yourself when you finish the install. Your customer will understand exactly what they are buying.
