Ajax Superior TurretCam HLVF

Superior TurretCam HLVF is a motorised varifocal turret camera made for commercial sites that need sharp identification, strong low light performance, and tight integration with the Ajax platform. It is available in 4 megapixel and 8 megapixel versions and uses a 2.8 to 12 millimetre P Iris lens. The P Iris system keeps exposure and contrast balanced, giving you consistent, high quality footage from morning to night.

The varifocal lens lets you adjust between wide coverage and zoomed in detail without touching the camera. Hybrid illumination gives you colour images at night, with infrared reaching up to 60 metres and white light reaching up to 40 metres. The white light also acts as a visual deterrent when the camera detects movement.

The camera’s AI engine offers four times the processing power of previous Ajax models, helping it recognise people, vehicles, and pets more accurately. Two built in microphones and a speaker support clear two way audio. You can also use detections for visual verification or link them to automation scenarios and siren activation inside the Ajax ecosystem.

JetSparrow, Ajax’s streaming technology, keeps the video feed smooth and responsive. It supports dual streams for bandwidth control, quick archive clip exports, and fast navigation through recorded footage.

Security is handled with a multi layered approach. The camera uses passwordless mutual TLS authentication, TLS encrypted streams, digital signature protected exports, and user level control over video access. All components are NDAA compliant.

Installation is simple. You can add it to an Ajax system with a QR code or integrate it with third party VMS or NVRs using ONVIF or RTSP. Alarm and audio input and output ports are built in. Everything from motion zones to health monitoring is managed through the Ajax apps.
