TAKEX Flame Sensor

The TAKEX FS-1000E Flame Sensor is designed for fast and reliable flame detection in security and safety applications. By detecting the ultraviolet rays contained in flames, it provides immediate alarm activation with both an internal sounder and an open collector output for integration with wider security systems.

For power, the FS-1000E can operate on two type-3 alkaline batteries, a long-life lithium battery, or an external 9-30VDC supply, giving flexibility across different installation scenarios. A selectable detection timer allows installers to set alarm activation at 1, 6, 15, or 30 seconds to suit the environment.

The sensor includes a built-in 80dB sounder, with the option to disable it when using external signalling devices such as sirens or bells. Compact in design, the FS-1000E is easy to install and maintain, with a detachable sensor unit and clear low-battery indication via buzzer and LED.

For professional installations, the open collector output allows connection to a security control panel or to trigger warning devices. This makes the FS-1000E a strong choice for environments where early flame detection is critical, and it can be used to complement Ajax Systems when integrated via a control panel.
