The TAKEX VS-1000E is a dedicated vape and smoke sensor designed to detect vaping and smoking in areas such as restrooms, schools, and public buildings. Using a high sensitivity particle sensor, it identifies airborne vapour or smoke and triggers an alarm.

The VS-1000E includes an internal buzzer for local notification and provides selectable alarm contact output (N.C./N.O.) for integration with wider security or building management systems. Multiple units can be interconnected via a dedicated terminal for larger coverage.

Installers can adjust sensitivity (standard or low) and choose between real-time or one-shot alarm output modes depending on the application. The sensor includes a discreet design, tamper-resistant cover, and self-diagnosis function to monitor voltage or module failures.
